The briefing
Preparation: preserve a manual save before Franklin makes his final decision. The Third Way is selected through option C, Deathwish, and differs from the two finales in which Franklin targets a fellow protagonist. Refill supplies before committing. The mission contains several changes of character, location and combat role, so watch for new instructions after each encounter.
Story spoilers — reveal narrative details
Franklin asks Lester for a plan that keeps Michael and Trevor alive. The protagonists arrange a confrontation at the foundry against their enemies, with Lamar helping Franklin. Use cover and switch when prompted to support a character under pressure. Clear the threat facing the currently endangered ally instead of assuming every character can safely wait while you continue firing from one position. Once the foundry battle is finished, the operation expands into separate attacks against the men threatening the group.
Story spoilers — reveal narrative details
the final targets include Stretch, Steve Haines, Wei Cheng and Devin Weston. Follow each assigned character’s sequence, then bring the story to its cliffside conclusion. This branch leaves all three protagonists available afterward. The other endings are alternative outcomes, not missions that must also be completed in the same save for the story to count. Keep the earlier save if you want to see them while retaining your preferred world state.
