The briefing

Rockstar’s official media library lists Trailer 1, Trailer 2 and Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look. The longer presentation was released on August 27, 2026. Rockstar describes it as captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5; that statement identifies the capture platform without establishing every retail graphics mode or the exact behavior of another console.

Watch in release order

Trailer 1 establishes the first public impression of Leonida and the return to Vice City. Trailer 2 places more attention on Jason and Lucia. The Extended Look offers a longer opportunity to examine moment-to-moment action and the relationship between scenes. Watching in that order makes the expansion of the reveal easier to follow.

Use the official videos linked by Rockstar rather than a re-upload labelled Trailer 3, leaked trailer or final gameplay. A fan edit can combine genuine footage in a way that implies a new official announcement. Its ingredients being authentic does not make the edit an official publication.

A frame can answer some questions

A clear frame can show a visible person, object, sign or environment. It is weaker evidence for what is happening outside the frame, how long a task lasts or which input produced an action. A trailer’s camera may also differ from the camera a player normally controls.

When comparing videos, check whether a supposed new detail actually appears in both or whether it has been inferred from a quick cut. Keep timestamps for observations so another viewer can verify the same moment. This is especially helpful for vehicle and weapon identification, where a silhouette can resemble several familiar models.

What the archive adds

The directories organize the cast, regions and equipment so that viewers can place a scene in context. The story guide separates the advertised premise from a full mission walkthrough. The features guide records current system reports with attribution instead of treating every cinematic flourish as a confirmed player action.

No trailer analysis here claims a completed playthrough of the unreleased game. Release date, purchase format and pre-load details are verified from announcements and support pages because a video montage cannot settle those practical questions. The original media library remains the best starting point for watching the source material.
