The briefing
Rockstar sells Standard and Ultimate editions of Grand Theft Auto VI. Standard supplies the game; Ultimate adds a collection of vehicles, weapons, style options and other story content. The advertised US prices are $79.99 and $99.99 respectively. Prices shown here are US reference prices, not a conversion into the amount charged by every regional store.
What the extra content includes
The official comparison names the ’95 Grotti Cheetah, Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers, personalized weapon variants, Vice City Styles, Jason’s Safehouse Vehicles, Ganado Retro Build and the Shitzu Squalo. It also names Rideout Customs, Sara’s Unisex Salon, Stock 305, Electric Fang, One-Eyed Willie’s, Goodtime Gear, the PTT Youngin$ Compound, a classic-car collection and a ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy.
Rockstar describes this collection as content encountered across the story. Do not interpret a list of bonus items as a promise that every item is immediately usable during the opening scene. Equally, an edition benefit naming a shop does not by itself establish the complete functionality of that shop in the base game.
Upgrade instead of guessing
The official support page provides an Ultimate Edition Upgrade route for Standard owners. That is useful for someone who wants the story first and would prefer to assess the extras later. Check the current add-on listing and the license on your account before buying, so that you do not accidentally purchase the base game twice.
When comparing value, separate your interest in the items from the size of the marketing image. Vehicles, clothing and customization may be appealing to collectors, but their existence is not evidence that the main campaign requires the more expensive edition.
Pre-order and collector products are separate
The Vintage Vice City Pack is a purchase-window promotion, not another name for the Ultimate upgrade. Read the pre-order article for its contents and eligibility. The Vice City Collection is a separate merchandise product; its product description, rather than the presence of a GTA VI logo, determines whether a game license is included.
Before checkout, review edition, platform, region, total charge and delivery format on one screen. Those five details are more important than whether the product image shows a box or a digital cover. This article is a comparison of the announced products, not a claim that we have tested the benefits in the unreleased game.
