The briefing
This mission is a decision rather than a conventional assignment with one approved target. Playboy X and Dwayne each ask Niko to kill the other. Read their calls and conversations before committing, and retain a manual save if you want to examine both outcomes. Driving to a target’s home is effectively your selection; the game does not turn the two requests into consecutive required kills.

choosing Dwayne leads to a short confrontation at his apartment. Playboy pays Niko but then ends their relationship. Choosing Playboy instead produces a larger gunfight at his penthouse followed by a pursuit. Use cover against the armed guards, then follow the changing target position instead of staying behind to fight after Playboy has fled. Keep your weapon ready when entering the final confined space.

killing Playboy gives Niko access to the penthouse and leaves Dwayne alive as a potential friend; killing Dwayne provides a cash reward but removes that future relationship. These are practical consequences as well as moral ones. Neither result requires restarting the campaign to continue its main story. A guide should describe both branches clearly rather than treating one outcome as a mission failure or claiming that both rewards can be collected in the same unmodified playthrough.
