The person behind the name
Brian Heder is a veteran drug runner from the Keys’ earlier smuggling era. His boatyard remains part of that operation, which he runs alongside his third wife, Lori. The reference names the business Brian’s Boat Works & Marina.
Brian now relies on other people to handle much of the direct pressure and collection work. Jason lives rent-free at one of his properties in return for helping with local shakedowns and tenants’ payments. Cal Hampton also belongs to Brian’s circle.
The source identifies Stephen Root as Brian’s performer, unlike the explicitly unconfirmed actor theories attached to several other cast entries. Brian’s associated property is the Keys safehouse, and the character reference lists a Caracara 4x4 among his vehicles.
