The person behind the name
Jason Duval is one of GTA VI’s two playable leads. He grew up around petty criminals and entered the Army in an attempt to leave that background behind. The official introduction finds him back in familiar work, running drugs for people in the Leonida Keys.
Brian Heder provides Jason with a place to live in exchange for local jobs, including collecting payments and applying pressure to other tenants. Cal Hampton is his friend and another member of Brian’s circle. These relationships give Jason an established life in the Keys before the conspiracy at the centre of the campaign.
Jason’s partnership with Lucia Caminos brings together their criminal work and personal relationship. Rockstar’s premise describes a failed easy score drawing them into danger across Leonida. The reference also associates Jason with the Ganado and a turquoise 1970 vehicle; performer identifications remain explicitly unconfirmed in the source fields.
