The source’s October 2026 ranking uses tested fully upgraded straight-line speed and gives HSW cars a separate comparison. Temporary boost performance is also different from an ordinary sustained maximum. These distinctions prevent unlike upgrade packages from being presented as if they were the same vehicle configuration.
A fast car can still lose time through braking, cornering or poor traction. For racing, combine this list with a circuit comparison and the event’s allowed class and modifications. For free-roam travel, consider how often the route permits a long uninterrupted straight. The table provides the reported measurements; the individual vehicle records explain availability, costs and upgrade requirements. A current ranking should always retain its verification date because new releases can change its order.
