GTA V Enhanced became available on PC March 4, 2025 through Rockstar Games Launcher, Steam and Epic Games. Existing PC owners were offered the upgrade without an additional game purchase, with migration options for Story Mode and GTA Online progress. New purchases included Enhanced and Legacy, keeping the two editions distinct.
Enhanced brought HSW vehicles and modifications, Chameleon Paints, animal encounters, Wildlife Photography and Career Progress. New-player onboarding included Career Builder’s GTA$4,000,000 setup budget. These systems accompanied graphics and loading improvements, but the higher hardware requirements still needed checking before installation.
GTA+ became available on PC Enhanced, with a special Classics Collection during the launch promotion. The Principe Deveste Eight claim had a May 28 deadline in the source. That time-limited membership benefit is separate from the free edition upgrade. Confirm your edition, migration destination and hardware before treating every launch feature as available in Legacy.
