GTA V’s PC release brought Michael, Franklin and Trevor’s story and GTA Online to a configurable desktop version. The April 2015 launch included the original Online heists and PC-focused presentation options.
The release also introduced Rockstar Editor as a way to record, assemble and share gameplay clips. That creative tool was separate from the playable Director Mode and from the ordinary story-mission progression, even though both used the same game world.
The platform guide should be read alongside the original system requirements when identifying this release. Later PC Enhanced features are a different stage of the game’s history; they should not be attached retroactively to the 2015 launch package.
