The 2013 Special Edition combined the game with a SteelBook, an annotated map and digital bonuses. The Collector’s Edition added physical items, including a security-deposit bag and cap, plus further in-game benefits. Pre-orders also offered access to the Atomic Blimp.
These editions mixed collectible packaging with gameplay extras, so the contents should be compared item by item. A map or SteelBook is a physical artifact, while a weapon, vehicle or challenge depends on the included redemption entitlement and supported version. The announcement describes original PS3 and Xbox 360 retail packages. It does not establish that a used copy still contains valid codes or that purchasing a later digital edition reproduces every physical or digital benefit of the 2013 collection.
