The briefing

Published 14 March 2022. This archival report describes the announcement and offers of that period; temporary rewards do not remain active indefinitely.

The March 15, 2022 console edition brought up to 4K output, modes targeting up to 60 frames per second, faster loading, HDR, improved assets and ray-tracing features. The exact combination depends on the chosen graphics mode and console; the headline maximums should not be assumed to run simultaneously in every mode.

Online additions included Hao’s Special Works, Career Builder and a revised entry flow. Returning players also had a progress-migration route, subject to eligibility. These features distinguish the PS5 and Xbox Series product from running the older console version through backward compatibility. Match the actual game edition as well as the hardware when comparing access to upgrades, multiplayer sessions and graphical options.
