The briefing

The May 2023 opinion article examines cooldowns as a constraint on choosing the next activity. Its examples include three minutes for Casino Work, five for Security Contracts, ten for VIP Work and twenty for Nightclub sourcing. Those are the values discussed in the historical piece, not a continuously maintained timer table.

Longer examples include thirty-minute Client Job waits, 48-minute waits for some work and heist situations, and 144 minutes for solo Cayo Perico repetition. The last figure equals three in-game days. Timers can differ by job, completion condition and group size.

The criticism is that a player may be pushed into managing a rotation instead of repeating a preferred activity. A practical response is to combine unrelated jobs with production or collection time, but that does not remove the timers. Check current in-game availability before applying a 2023 cooldown value to a later update.
