The briefing
Deadline paired the Nagasaki Shotaro with a competitive light-trail mode. Players rode bikes whose trails became hazards for their opponents, making route control and survival more important than conventional weapon fire.
The November 2016 release used the Shotaro as the mode’s signature vehicle. The bike’s free-roam purchase was a separate catalog transaction from entering Deadline, and its in-mode trail mechanic should not be assumed to function identically outside the job.
Leave room for an escape route instead of circling into a closed pocket. The useful tactical question is where opponents can travel after a trail is laid, rather than which rider has a standard road-race top speed. The announcement’s bonuses and sales belonged to its launch event.
