Open Wheel racing launched with the Progen PR4 and Ocelot R88 and seven dedicated circuits. The format introduced an open-wheel motorsport setting rather than simply placing the new cars into every existing race type.
Vehicle configuration and race management matter alongside speed in this format. A dedicated circuit, appropriate setup and the event’s rules shape how the cars perform, so a road-car top-speed ranking does not answer which open-wheel choice works best. The report also recorded that week’s wider promotions. Separate those temporary incentives from the arrival of the race category and its original cars. Later open-wheel additions belong to their own records, while this item preserves the February 2020 introduction.
