The briefing
Published 9 January 2021. This archival report describes the announcement and offers of that period; temporary rewards do not remain active indefinitely.
This January 2021 report discussed game-file references attributed to alloc8or and Tez2. Character transfer, a revised interface and a possible relationship to Red Dead Redemption 2’s version of RAGE were examined as clues about the forthcoming console editions.
The strength of each claim differs. A string in a game file can indicate work or a planned system without proving how the finished feature will behave, and an engine comparison is not established merely by recognizing a familiar term. The later official migration and edition announcements provide firmer rules. Preserve this item as pre-release community reporting, keeping transfer eligibility and graphical specifications tied to the announcements that actually confirmed them rather than retrospectively upgrading speculation into a promise.
