The Criminal Enterprises arrived on July 26, 2022, expanding existing businesses instead of replacing them with a single new property type. Executives, bikers, gunrunners and nightclub owners received new work, while Operation Paper Trail brought Agent ULP back for a contact-mission storyline.
The update allowed business sales in invite-only sessions and adjusted payouts, vehicle behavior and the Oppressor Mk II. Its release notes also separate immediate additions from the subsequent vehicle and collectible rollout. The recorded download was roughly 12 GB on Xbox Series, 5 GB on PS5 and 3 GB on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Those figures are historical download estimates and should not be substituted for current installation requirements.

The sudden spike in gas prices has caught the attention of the IAA, who suspect the corrupt Duggan petrochemical family is rigging the system in their favor, and they’re going to need you to help them put the pieces together. Agent ULP will get in touch to start Operation Paper Trail, which can be accessed by 1-4 players outside the IAA Headquarters. Note: GTA+ Members receive a 50% extra GTA$ and RP when playing Operation Paper Trail. The Precision Rifle is available on launch and costs $450,000 (currently discounted at 400,500). A second rifle, called the Service Carbine (codenamed Tactical Rifle) has been made available on August 25, and requires collecting its parts to unlock it.
