The 2018 San Andreas tax promotion ran from February 16 through February 26. Logging in during that window qualified a player for a GTA$250,000 stimulus payment.
A separate rebate returned 10% of eligible GTA$ spending during the same period, capped at GTA$1,000,000. The cap limited the refund, not the player’s total purchases; reaching it required GTA$10,000,000 of qualifying spending at that rate.
The source stated that stimulus and rebate deposits would arrive between February 27 and March 6. This was a dated event, with login, spending and payment windows serving different functions. It does not describe an ongoing tax refund or a bonus that a new player can claim today by following the archived dates.
