The briefing
Title Update 1.05 focused on protecting GTA Online progress during cloud and network failures. Released on November 5, 2013, it addressed remaining cases where cash balances, vehicles or modifications could be lost.
The protection measures followed earlier launch-period patches rather than adding another business or competitive mode. The notes specifically connected vehicle and modification losses with failures around saving and leaving Online.
The announcement also discussed the forthcoming stimulus distribution, explaining that players might receive their deposits at different times during the rollout. That was part of the original launch recovery process, rather than a payment available by installing the archived patch today.
