The briefing
The Lab was announced as a new GTA V radio station curated around The Alchemist and Oh No’s music project. Its April 2015 introduction connected the PC-era release with the album Welcome to Los Santos.
The station’s identity came from its artists and selection rather than a new vehicle or business unlock. Listening to the station was separate from buying the associated album outside the game.
The radio guide records the hosts and track names for the game version, while the original release notice explains the music collaboration. Availability can differ between editions and later music revisions, so the original soundtrack context should remain attached to the dated announcement rather than being treated as a complete current licensing list.
