The August 2025 End of Summer Giveaway advertised up to GTA$2,000,000. The source identifies GTA$1,000,000 for eligible players who logged in during the event, with an additional membership-linked amount behind the larger headline. The maximum was therefore not the unconditional payment for every account.
Treat the event’s login window and deposit timing as part of the claim. A promotional payment is separate from cash earned through missions and from any standard GTA+ recurring deposit. Logging in after an archived window does not create eligibility for that old offer.
The report discussed speculation connecting the giveaway with a future Mansion update. That was a proposed explanation at the time, not a requirement for the payment or a confirmed reason for Rockstar’s promotion. The useful distinction is between the documented login award, the extra member benefit and community theories about what might arrive later.
