The March 2015 heist preparation guide explained the requirements for hosting the original apartment heists. The leader needed rank 12 and a high-end apartment with a planning board, paid setup costs and assigned the crew’s roles and final shares.
Planning mattered before entering the finale. A stable group could agree on responsibilities and communication, then bring suitable equipment for the specific job rather than assume every task was a firefight.
The host’s saved progress and the participant payouts were separate concerns. Choose a reliable leader and understand the allocation before starting. These requirements describe the apartment-heist system introduced in that period; later heists use different properties, player counts and preparation structures.
