The briefing
The 2013 Special Edition included the game, a SteelBook and a blueprint-style map of Los Santos and Blaine County. Its digital extras included faster special-ability regeneration, Stunt Plane Trials, additional character customization items and access to bonus weapons.
The Collector’s Edition added a security deposit bag and logo key, a Los Santos cap and further digital extras. These included additional Online character-creation options and special vehicle entitlements.
These were original-release packages. Later platforms changed how some previously exclusive vehicles, weapons and other features were distributed. A used physical package does not establish that a digital code is unused or redeemable on a current platform.
Use this record to identify the contents of the announced editions. Compare current storefront entitlements separately when choosing a modern copy of the game.
