The briefing
A verified GTA VI 100% checklist is not available in the sources checked on October 15, 2026. GTABase explicitly describes its checklist as something to be completed when the game releases; the categories currently discussed are expectations based on earlier games. This archive therefore does not publish guessed collectible totals or present optional activities as mandatory objectives.
Four different ways to finish a game
Finishing the main story answers the central narrative. Reaching the game’s recorded 100% means satisfying its defined statistical requirements. Unlocking every platform achievement follows a separate list. Seeing everything is an even broader personal goal that can include incidental conversations, scenery and variations that no counter records.
A useful completion guide must say which of these goals it serves. Otherwise, a player can spend hours repeating an activity that does not advance the particular total they are trying to complete. For GTA VI, that distinction remains useful even before the final requirements are public.
A practical record to keep
When playing, record the exact objective shown by the game, its region, the protagonist used, any prerequisite and whether completion changed a visible statistic. Add a short note for unusual conditions. That record is more reliable than assuming that an activity belongs to the checklist simply because a similar one counted in an older GTA.
Use separate notes for story progress, discovered activities and platform awards. If the released game permits multiple manual saves, keeping clear save labels before major decisions can help preserve context. This is general planning advice; the availability and limitations of GTA VI’s final save system must be established in the game.
How to evaluate a checklist
Look for exact totals, a source for each requirement and evidence that the author checked the resulting game percentage. Claims about missable tasks need the same level of care: an encounter disappearing once is not automatically proof that all routes to completion have been closed.
The activity directory covers the revealed range of pastimes. The achievements article addresses platform awards. Neither substitutes for the final completion rules. Keeping these references separate gives readers useful pre-release information without manufacturing a finished walkthrough for an unreleased game.
