A circulated Best Buy affiliate email led to a prediction that preorders could open during a May 18–21 promotion window. The report linked that period with Take-Two’s earnings timing and hoped an announcement would follow.
The later official cover reveal named June 25 as the preorder opening. This record therefore preserves an earlier rumor and its context rather than advertising an active deadline. An affiliate promotion window alone does not prove a publisher’s product-release schedule.
