The briefing
The May 2021 story reports map images posted anonymously on 4chan and compares them with competing claims about Vice City, Caribbean locations, South America and multiple cities. It explicitly acknowledges the lack of official confirmation.
The fact that later GTA VI returned to Vice City does not authenticate an older anonymous image. The archive keeps the report as a rumor from its original period and uses official place introductions and credited reference data for the actual location guides.
