The briefing
The January 2021 roundup collects claims about playable leads, setting and release timing at a point when Rockstar had not officially introduced GTA VI. One discussed possibility was a male-and-female protagonist pair associated with Tom Henderson’s reporting.
Some broad ideas later resembled the official reveal, but that does not validate every claim in the roundup. The useful historical question is which details received independent confirmation and which remained speculation. Current dates, names and platforms should come from later announcements.
