The person behind the name
Kendl is Carl and Sweet’s sister and Cesar Vialpando’s partner. Her relationship with Cesar challenges the assumption that neighborhood affiliations should dictate personal loyalties. She belongs at the center of the Johnson family’s story rather than at its margins.
Her practical approach becomes especially valuable as Carl establishes work in San Fierro. Where Sweet focuses on the old neighborhood, Kendl recognizes the possibilities of new businesses. That difference gives the family’s ambitions more than one direction.
