The person behind the name
Madd Dogg is a Los Santos recording artist whose mansion and public career stand far above the opportunities available to Carl at the beginning of the story. His presence connects the campaign’s street-level work with celebrity, wealth and the music business.
Carl’s involvement with OG Loc damages Madd Dogg’s career. Their later relationship changes substantially, giving Carl a chance to repair some of the harm. The music storyline eventually becomes another part of his return to Los Santos.
