OG Loc returns to Los Santos determined to reinvent himself as a formidable rapper. The gap between his chosen image and his actual circumstances supplies much of his humor. He treats a music career as a route to respect he has not otherwise earned.
Carl helps him through jobs involving rivals and material belonging to Madd Dogg. Those tasks have consequences beyond Loc’s immediate ambitions. His storyline asks what happens when someone pursues credibility through theft and intimidation rather than talent.
