Preparation: arrive with full health, armor and ammunition for a sustained indoor fight. The mansion has narrow approaches that reward deliberate aim. Save in another slot before the finale if you want to revisit the state of the city before the confrontation. The objective is to survive the attack while protecting the money, so chasing every distant attacker is a poor use of time.
Story spoilers — reveal narrative details
Lance exposes Tommy’s counterfeit payment and sides with Sonny. Defend the office and safe from the invading Forelli men, then follow the mission’s shift toward Lance. He retreats through the mansion toward the rooftop. Clear immediate threats before pushing through doors, and use the structure’s walls to reduce the number of enemies firing at once. Keep track of the safe’s situation instead of treating the entire sequence as an unrestricted rooftop chase.
Story spoilers — reveal narrative details
after dealing with Lance, return to confront Sonny in the mansion. A controlled firing position is safer than standing exposed in the foyer. Their deaths end the main story’s conflict over Tommy’s independence, with Ken Rosenberg remaining at his side. The credits do not represent 100% completion: asset missions, collectibles and other required activities may still remain. Check the statistics and your own activity log before considering the save complete.
